Elevation Precision

I'm trying to draw simple contour lines with 0.25 m elevation lines. When I enter anything other than a whole number, vectorworks rounds to the nearest whole number, very frustrating! I'm sure there must be an option to increase precision somewhere, but can't for the life of me find it. Any help would be appreciated!

Check File > Document Settings > Units…

 

If your units are set to meters and your decimal precision is set to 1, that would explain what you are seeing.  Try setting the decimal precision to .01.

Thanks michaelk, this was moreorless the issue, except I had set units to mm and was trying to enter elevation in m...silly me! Thanks for the answer 🙂

if you enter the information as "0.25m" Vectorworks will convert the number to mm
