n ironside Posted August 8, 2001 Share Posted August 8, 2001 I have converted drawings that I started in VW 8.5.1 to the latest version of ARCHITECT 9.0.1. The object information box for the converted windows and doors is grayed but the information is there. I can not use the object info box to modify windows created in 8.5.1. Am I out of luck? Do I need to plug in new windows and doors creaated in 9.0.1? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted August 8, 2001 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 8, 2001 There is a command under "Utilities" on your Tool menu called "Convert to V2 Objects" which will automatically convert old-style doors and windows into the latest Architect ones. I recommend that you save a copy of your file before running it. Quote Link to comment
MikeB Posted August 8, 2001 Share Posted August 8, 2001 I don't know if NNA supports this but you can copy the simple door and simple window plug-in from your 8.5.2 plug-ins folder and put them into your 9.0.1 plug-ins folder. I'd done it and it seems to work fine. Quote Link to comment

The vertical position of them needs to be adjusted, but at least the size and horizontal parameters remained the same Quote Link to comment
