Ross W
I'm trying to find where the level of visiblity of a locked layer (or class but mainly layer) can be controlled from. I'm new to Vectorworks but couldn't find any real guidance on this while searching for the answer. I've created a building outline on a layer and I'm now drawing on a new layer but the outline is bearly visible for me to use as a guilde, hence the need to adjust the visibility level. Any help appreciated. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
At the top of the Navigation Palette look at your Layer (or Class) options. You probably have it set to Grey. The consensus recommendation is usually to set Layer Options to Show/Snap Others and Class Options to Show/Snap/Modify Others. Quote Link to comment
Ross W
Great thanks Pat that has done the trick; working how it should now 🙂 Out of interest can you adjust the intensity of classes that are locked/greyed or is it just a global setting? Thanks for your help Ross Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You can set the grey level for layers and classes for printing in the Print Dialog box, but I don't think you can change them for screen display. Quote Link to comment
