AURA Systems
Please excuse the noob question here. I'm in USA and we are planning to use Prolyte Verto truss in Imperial lengths. What can I do to get the symbols? I am looking for even lengths from 1' to 10'. In Vectorworks and on the Prolyte website, everything is in Metric. Thank you kindly, Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee jcogdell Posted November 9, 2020 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 9, 2020 The Spotlight truss symbols use the official manufacturers names and currently, to the best of my knowledge, all Prolyte trusses are metric designs and use metric naming conventions. The only solution I can see is to rename the symbols to show the imperial length in the name, and on the 2D label inside the symbol itself. Spotlight truss symbols do have the imperial data in the truss record, but since the original trusses are based on metric designs they will not be even imperial lengths. Quote Link to comment
wktaylor
I too am looking for the H30V symbols in imperial. Now that Area4 owns them their Tennessee plant is making them in imperial for the US market. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
