Viper x
Does anyone know how to get that soft water coloured brushed effect on plant fills. Especially on plant fills but also for dipicting other soft landscape materials like lawns. I have played with the gradient tool but it does not give that water colour effect that is so good on soft landscape drawings. Thanks Viper Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted September 2, 2004 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 2, 2004 I'd try finding several repeating image patterns that have a "mottled" look and are very light in color saturation. You can then import these as image fills and use them. Quote Link to comment
Marietta
You can also try putting your plant layer in 'overlay' mode so that it is partially 'see through'. This can give some interesting effects. That is an option in hte layer dialogue box. Quote Link to comment
