blimey Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 when I arrived at the office yesterday. I turned on the computer and launched VW12... just as usual. The VW12 window appeared but instead of opening a new drawing I have a windows from XP saying "Vectorworks encountered a problem and need to close" then I'm supposed to send a report to microsoft... No other soft seem to have problem. I just cannot use VW12. VW11.5 still works. but since then it has been impossible to launch VW12... Any clues? I run VW12 on windowsXP with a P4 3.6GHZ and 2Giga Ram... Quote Link to comment
TBennett Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 I have had this problem before in VW 11.5.1 I figured out that something in my custom workspace had become corrupt. I had to delete the custom workspace from the workspace folder so that VW would not try to load it. VW then loaded just fine; although , I had to rebuild my workspace. In your case, since workspaces are specific to the version VW11.5 would still work while VW12 would not. This was also on a WinXp machine. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
