unknown
Hello there, I have inherited a number of MiniCAD .mcd files, which I would like to convert into Autocad drawing Format. I don't know what version of MiniCAD they were created with. Is there a tool available to convert old .mcd files to a later Vectorworks format and Autocad format? Can anybody help me with this? Thanks Kind regards Ingrid Tack Quote Link to comment
michaelk
I believe that any version of Vectorworks can open a .mcd file and convert it to dwg. I don't think there is a way to batch convert them. People have just been posting them here and the forum community has been converting them and posting them back. Quote Link to comment
Diego - Resuelvector
I think most of the current versions of Vectorworks can still open MCD files Quote Link to comment
michaelk
If you have a lot of files to convert, I think you could get the trial copy of Vectorworks and you would have 1 month to convert them to .vwx and dwg. But after a month you might also fall in love with Vectorworks :-). 3 Quote Link to comment
