How do I insert the file name into a drawing

there is a datastamp object that can place the date, time and filename in the drawing.

Of if you have an Industry series VectorWorks then the title block can have the file name on it

Is the time/date stamp function built in, I was not able to find anything anywhere

I have Spotlight, I don't see any menu commands to insert time or date, or filename, and the help file doesn't say anything as well

Find drafting tools in your object library, you will find an item in there named Date/File stamp. I suggest you add it as a favorite in your resource browser. This item does not automatically update when you print, to make it update select it and then uncheck and recheck any of the items in the object info palettes, this will cause it to refresh.

The Vectordepot plugin does update everytime that you print.

Thanks, found it right away, and worked like I wanted, tried teh vectordepot version as well, both work for what I wanted
