scarth Posted July 13, 2005 Author Share Posted July 13, 2005 sorry a bit tired (no sleep 3 days) yes its on open GL and all that comes up is black as in total night (arggghh!) I thought this was the mode to use to move about for a client presentation with color! ok so I resorted to using pretty little jpegs but how can you use this mode? mike m oz Posted July 13, 2005 Share Posted July 13, 2005 Check that you haven't inadvertantly set your light source to a very low level like 5%. For a single light source it should be 75%. If you have more than one light source you will need to balance them as necessary to get good light. Also check: - Your ambient light level is set to around 35%. - You are rendering in Active Layer only setting. If you want a black background set it to this in VectorWorks Preferences.
