NannerTichols
Is there a way to export all design layers as pdf's at the same time? I design custom rack panels and each panel is a design layer. The classes consist of components on the custom panels. (Art, Connectors, Cutouts, Dimensions, Metal). Viewports are made to show each panel (design layer) on the sheets. We create sheets to present all the panels and their components together for the customer to see the final product and for our team to follow for assembly instructions. Sheets get exported with different classes depending on if it's going to the metal shop or the print shop or someone else. When publishing sheet layers as DXF/DWG files, it gives me the option to "Export Layers as separate files." Is there any way to do the same thing for PDF's? I'm trying to avoid exporting each design layer one at a time or creating a viewport for every design layer again for a separate sheet that has them all displayed. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
The only way I know of would be to create a Saved View of each Design Layer and then use Publish on those views. 1 Quote Link to comment
NannerTichols
Thank you for your help! I discovered the Saved View feature shortly after posting and I believe that is indeed the best option until they add the feature to export all design layers as pdf's. Quote Link to comment
