APE Design Ctr
On any project now, I choose 'Update All Viewports' and I get a crash every single time, on all my projects now. If I choose to Update Viewport individually, I get no crashes. What a pain... Any ideas? Quote Link to comment

Jacques
Eddie, I'm no OS X File system buff, but I moved all my CAD and other applications from my main OS X mount partition (The one with applications, Library, users etc) to another partition and I have not had a single problem with permissions. For some reason OS X does not seem to care what the permissions are on other non-boot partitions...You can't even repair permissions with Disk Utility on a non boot partition. I now keep all my application on my 'Applications' partition. I have not had a single problem with any other apps. Just to let you know. I don't know why it works for me...Lucky?!? If I have a system problem, I only have to back up my Users folder, and if required, format my System partition and re-install...While my Apps and data sit pretty on another partition. This way, the system data is somewhat independant from my more valuable Applications and other data. -Jacques. Quote Link to comment
APE Design Ctr
Hmmm good wisdom, thanks. If I start from scratch, I may do this. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
APE Design Ctr
I repaired permissions, and it seemed to go away. Quote Link to comment
