RK Posted February 22, 2005 Share Posted February 22, 2005 I'm running VW 11.0.1 on a Mac G5 and I'm experiencing frequent crashes while using the window and door tool. I've repaired permissions and it's still happening. Any one having the same problem? Any suggestions? So far the only thing I can do to not loose work is save after every use of the tool... completely unacceptable. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Try resetting the VW preferences - Reset button in bottom LH corner of VW preferences dialog box. If that doesnt work you may need to reinstall the program - make sure you first 'rescue' any custom Workspaces, Templates etc that you have created. Quote Link to comment

RK Posted February 23, 2005 Author Share Posted February 23, 2005 I verified and repaired disk permissions. As of this morning I tried resetting VW preferences (thanks for the suggestion Mike)... unfortunately, still no change. There is no error message. VW just quits and I get an option to report a bug. RK Posted March 3, 2005 Author Share Posted March 3, 2005 It's still crashing... and... now will not open files directly off a CD-R. but I found a way around it thanks to the board. VW 11 is turning out to be really buggy for me. I have run other versions (MiniCAD 7, VW 8, 9, 10) and I'm least pleased with v.11. Quote Link to comment
