It's still crashing... and... now will not open files directly off a CD-R. but I found a way around it thanks to the board. VW 11 is turning out to be really buggy for me. I have run other versions (MiniCAD 7, VW 8, 9, 10) and I'm least pleased with v.11.

I am now getting the same error. The weird thing is I have burned CD's in the past and have not had this come up.

I verified and repaired disk permissions. As of this morning I tried resetting VW preferences (thanks for the suggestion Mike)... unfortunately, still no change. There is no error message. VW just quits and I get an option to report a bug. I could email you the VW crash log if that would help. its a little long to post in the forum. [ 02-23-2005, 02:21 PM: Message edited by: RK ]

I'm running VW 11.0.1 on a Mac G5 and I'm experiencing frequent crashes while using the window and door tool. I've repaired permissions and it's still happening. Any one having the same problem? Any suggestions? So far the only thing I can do to not loose work is save after every use of the tool... completely unacceptable.
