Attributes Palette

In the Attributes palette where the line thickness is indicated, I sometimes have a grey line and no thickness indicated.  Even if I click on a line to determine the thickness, this grey line remains without displaying the correct thickness.  I suspect there is a setting somewhere that needs to be changed.

Any advice?

What version of macOS and Vectorworks are you using? Does it appear the same when you expand the palette?

Hi Jim,

Never had this problem before and have been working on VW for years.  Suddenly, yesterday, this started to happen.  Not sure if I by mistake adjusted some setting somewhere.

VW - 2015

OS X El Capitan

Version 10.11.6

[PVA - Admin]

If you restart the machine entirely, then open a new blank document and draw a simple line in it, then try to assign it a pen style from the attributes palette, does it reappear? or remain grey?

 

If it remains grey, reply back with this as well from your machine please:

Thanks Jim.  Restarting seems to have resolved it.

Jim, I thought it was resolved, but it is back again.  Grey line without giving me the thickness of the line.
