Auto panning with lines selected

Jim Wilson

Message added by Jim Wilson

Until loading 2019, I have been able to select multiple endpoints of lines with the reshape tool while zoomed in and drag the endpoints off the edge of the screen. The view automatically panned to keep the cursor in the view. This allows me to easily see the new endpoint to snap to without having to move the points, zoom in a little, move the points closer, zoom in some more, etc. I've searched 2109 for where to activate this control as well as searching these forums....to no avail.

Can anyone help with where that setting is located?

Does this mean I found a bug and just need to wait on the next service pack?

It looks like it, 'm looking for a workaround here, but this behavior is not intentional. It should let you auto pan when you either draw an object near the edge, or have an object held by the cursor near the edge.
