LarryAZ
This might be a dumb question but I can't get the edge of my floor to show a texture. Tried both directly in the OIP and by assigning a class texture. All I get is texture on the top of the floor. Thanks - Larry iMac 800 17" 1gig OSX 10.3.6 VW 11.01 Quote Link to comment
Travis
The exciting thing, Larry, is that you've learned all there is to know about floors w/textures. You get the top plane to render and that's it. If you need the sides to show a texture, you can use a traditional extruded rectangle. That, of course, won't give you the 2D features of the plug-in object. You might want to combine a 2D rectangle with the 3D extrusion under Create Object to retain the best of both worlds. But editing size/shape isn't as simple and it may become tedious if you have a number of floors. Good luck Quote Link to comment
LarryAZ
Thanks Travis, I thought it was strange I couldn't get it to work. This is a floor on a cantilever section so I didn't have walls to hide it in. My work around is to create some 12" walls that will texture and hide the floor. Larry Quote Link to comment
