APE Design Ctr
Having problems getting a 1" dia circle to extrude to a 1.5" x .5" oval x 1/4". I am trying the multiple extrude feature, and it seems to be extruding to the wrong points, narrowing in the middle. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Andrew Bell@NV Posted September 23, 2004 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 23, 2004 The easiest way is probably to make the circle as an oval, and extrude between the two. Alternatively, if you need a smooth surface, convert the objects to nurbs, move the one you want on top up in Z by the 1/4", and use the loft tool to create the surface. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
draw the first circle then convert this into a nurbs... Menu Bar > Model > Convert to Nurbs Draw the second circle then convert this to nurbs... Menu Bar > Model > Convert to Nurbs Move the second nurbs up to the correct height using the move 3D command.... Menu Bar > Tool > Move > Move 3D Then use the Loft Surface tool to create a surface between the two of them. Quote Link to comment
