Insert Truss problems

Hi All, 

 

It's my first post in the knowledge base; apologies if I've duplicated a previous question, or posted in the wrong location..

If I have, please direct me to where I want to be.

 

I'm having a problem where I cannot insert a correctly aligned spigoted truss into a drawing;

VW snaps to the very end of the truss, not the holes.

At least, when I place a piece of truss to the right, it is wrong.

The first piece of truss I place to the left is correct, then each subsequent piece is wrong.

I suspect this is to do with insert points, but I cannot work out how to fix it.
