I usually just copy my drawings from VectorWorks and paste them into indesign but recently it has been causing me trouble. Occasionally when I hit paste in indesign a window pops up saying "Import failed. Scrap contains no visible objects." If I change the drawing to a smaller scale on vw, the lines paste in but if it's anything over 1:500 it doesn't work.
I used to do this all the time but since I've updated to VW 2018 the problem has arisen. I recently started to use more symbols, could that be to blame?
