I cannot activate the student version Vectorworks


I cannot activate the student version Vectorworks. I have uploaded my student id and the account status is listed as new. However when I attempt to activate the account I get these message. I have attempted to update my account on several occasions.

A "Communications Problem" error can be firewall, vpn or antimalware software on your end, but it can also indicate a server issue. Your license itself is most likely active and fine.

If you connect to a different network (public wifi often works fine) if you previously went through home or school and this message still appears, get in touch with tech@vectorworks.net directly and they can troubleshoot with you.
