Vectorworks 2017 crashing

I am having a problem with certain files, apparently started in other versions.  In this scenario, once the file is opened, if I try to zoom in on a perticular place the program crashed immediately.  This appears to happen (so far) with files that were originally done in earlier versions and that I updated and saved in 2017, before this problem began, or files that were sent to me originally done in 2018 but saved as 2017 files.

 

Some older files that I have (many converted from VW 12.5 and earlier) seem to be working just fine.

 

Any thoughts?  I've run dxdiags, and have uploaded a report if that's helpful to anyone.

The graphics card on that system (Intel HD Integrated graphics with 64MB VRAM) is far below the minimum required to run Vectorworks 2018, it would not surprise me if Vectorworks 2016, 2017 or 2018 was very randomly unstable on that machine.

Thanks, I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it's a pretty old laptop.  It worked fine up utnil this version update, so I guess it's time to look at a new computer.
