Bret Posted May 21, 2004 Share Posted May 21, 2004 Is there any way to translate a view in a viewport by a specified amount? The situation is this: I'm creating structural plans for a large building project, large enough that the plans have to be split into two sheets. I'd like to be able to reference the architectural plans from a separate file as design layers, and then set up two sheet layers that show the top and bottom halves of the plan. The trick is that I'd like these views to be vertically aligned and offset by a certain dimension, and the Translate View tool only lets me drag the view within the cropped window. Any suggestions?
