I think I need a tutorial in Ordinate dimensions, as I really don't think I'm using them right. I'm making more and more use of them all the time.
Firstly, after they're laid down (in a sheet layer) you cannot redrag them to new locations, except for the dimension offset direction. You can't add any new dimensions to the group, but you can delete individual ones.
The text offset field in the OIP appers to do nothing at all. and although the leader/trailer works ok, the notes bit overwrites the dim completely.
Everytime I need to do any kind of practical edit, I need to delete the whole group and start again.
Any help to get me to know this tool better would be very much appreiciated.
Would love to see ordinates incorporated into the chain dimension tool, with a "flip start" option. The chain dimension tool works exactly how I should expect it to.
