ApocHalyptic
Has anyone used Vectorworks as a Mapping tool for light GIS work? Also I am wondering if it is possible to link a class to a scaling/ruler position? ie. A reference point has a static position in space, moving a mapped point/line/area moves its position relative to the scaled/ruler point in space. Thank you, I love VectorWorks as an application, am hoping it is usefull as a mapping tool. cheers! Quote Link to comment

ApocHalyptic
Yes. Nice pointer. I have sent Azimuth an email list of questions since their website has very little technical information on their website about the plugin. Really, the plugin is unnecessary unless it is capable of retaining positional information when class objects are moved on a document. Is there no way in VectorWorks to link an objects position to the Scale? Or, is it possible to import .dxf files to a particular position on a document since files automatically center. Thank you!
