Been reading lots of threads at the start of the new working year (sort of) to help streamline the small practice workflow. One thing that has always nagged me & I have never resolved is where to place dimensions. Opinion seems split, & 2017 might operate better so: dimension in annotations or on design layer? I prefer design layer for immediate design dimensioning, but then obviously have issues where I might scale up for detail then have to turn off dimension classes & create new dimension (detail) class.
