Vectorworks 2017 SP2 dwg file import corrupts drawings.

Is anyone, using VW 2017 SP2, having the same problems as I am with .dwg or .dfx importing...?

My files import but are scrambled and unusable. I've had to resort to VW 2016 to import such files as it's a heck of a lot better.

Am I doing something wrong or is VW version 2017 at fault..?

I have not seen reports of this and a test here did not yield any odd results, do you get the same issue importing the DWG into a new blank file with the same import settings in 2016 as well as 2017? Did the problem specifically not happen in 2017 SP1 but appeared in 2017 SP2?

I am using the exact same import settings in 2017 as I've used in 2016.

I've just uninstalled 2017 SP2 and re-installed it without the service pack: No difference in the results.

It still scrambles my imports.

My VW is installed on a on a Mac Pro (2008) desktop, 2x 3.2Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xenon, 24GB Ram with

Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512mb graphics card. My Macbook Pro yields similar results to my Mac Pro.

Both Macs are running OS El Capitan 10.11.6.

Make sure to get that DWG as well as the 2016 and 2017 imports into tech support directly and have them take a closer look. They may also request this from one of those Macs:
