Christian Fekete Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 My resulting PDF file is blank whether I select object or setup the export to all in all layers. What am I doing wrong? Do I need Adobe PDF or the mac viewer is enough. Tried to load the pdf into chrome and it shows a beutiful white page that Malevich would be proud of. Art V Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 Your 3D PDF shows the 3D model in my PDF software, so it seems to me that the PDF viewer you are using is not capable of showing 3D PDFs. Adobe Reader (recent versions) are able to show 3D PDF files and so are some other PDF programs, e.g. Bluebeam. Another thing to keep in mind is that depending on the size/complexity of your model it may take a while for the file to load and may initially look like it is a blank PDF. Though there should be an indication that it is loading the PDF file but your PDF viewer might not do that causing you to think the PDF is empty and then close it before it is fully loaded into the viewer.
