Polygons from walls

I would like to add a choice to the Create Polygon From Walls option to MID WALL. When doing Area Calcs, one must often choose NET AREA then stretch the resulting Polygon to the middle of walls as GFA often is defined by the centre line of a wall.

(I'd also like a little more predictable result when choosing GROSS Area as this is often produces quite odd results, but I'm not sure how that would work.)

This can be done with Space objects directly, with the boundaries configured to align with the center of the walls they are associated with, either by component, component offset or just overall offset if the surrounding walls have no components. Have you tried using Spaces instead of polygons, and if so, did they not do what you were looking for?
