jmartinarch
If I want to remove some of the columns/fields associated with a door schedule, do I edit it like any other spreadsheet? It will only affect the one door schedule that I am working on, correct? Can I save the DS after I modify it to my liking for use on future projects? Quote Link to comment
Markvl
That is correct. Worksheets are like other resources. You can have templates if you will of your schedules that you simply import to any new drawing. The changes you make do not affect the original that you imported. In turn you can now use the modified worksheet in another drawing file. The info I need in my schedules is the same in every project I do so all I need to do is import the worksheet I need into the project and voila! every things is updated in the spreadsheet showing all the doors or windows in the project. Love it. Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner
I have a "Favorites" file of stuff that I use all the time like what Mark is talking about, one of those things is a door schedule that I can just import into my "active" file. Rendering styles, text styles, hatches, textures, walls styles, slab styles etc can also be contained in a Favorites file for immediate use...alot of power resides in the Resource Browser Edited April 5, 2016 by Wes Gardner Quote Link to comment
