lolo66 Posted March 17, 2016 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Hi there, I'm trying to import a layer from another document- I've drawn a nice door that i'd like to use in this new drawing. When i go to the organisation window and select my file through 'import new layer' no layers are appearing in the box below, and I can't for the life of me think why. Can anyone help? Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted March 17, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 17, 2016 This will happen if the layers in the source document have the same names as layers in the destination document. By default the only layer would be "Design Layer 1" However, if it is simply a door, you can just copy/paste it from one document to the other. Quote Link to comment
