Open, active iso view window while working in Top/Plan view

Could an active 3D Iso view window be added while working in Top/Plan view. This would give immediate feedback when trying out different ideas. I find myself having to constantly switch back and forth which slows the workflow.

Regarding the amount and priority of other things in VW,

I stopped asking for things like 4-Window View for VW in 2014.

Could a Design Layer Viewport help you in any way as a workaround for now ?

We want it too. It's dependent on a bunch of other technology being implemented first though. Its pretty much considered a will-happen feature at this point by my coworkers, but the timetable for it depends on how long it takes to implement supporting tech.
