Use mouse clicks to input data into OIP

I'd like to see a new user interface for entering distance into an OIP field that uses two mouse clicks. Sort of like the way Symmetric By Distance works when scaling objects.

For example, in the field for the length of a base cabinet I'd like to use two clicks (on the edges of adjacent cabinets) to set the length. (Not a perfect example. It would be even better with base cabinets if they had handles for resizing!)

It could even be used for simple objects like rectangles to set the height and width. And one click could be used to set location.

This is what we need. Include variations of such user interactive points that allow for a text box with info to display on hovering or serve as a special snapping point on the object.

Thanks for your help w/ scripting vectors.

This (really poorly written!) code doesn't allow for resizing of cabinets, but it does allow for creating cabinets by clicking between two points. Who knew vectors could be so much fun?
