Darrell Henry
Working on a rendering and the fixtures (from the Martin Professional Spotlight Library -- Aura Hung for example) are rendering weirdly. The yokes are solid and the head of the fixture is wireframe. I went into the symbol and used eyedropper/bucket to transfer the attributes from the solid bits to the mesh bits to see if it would change. Nothing did. VW2015 Spotlight w/ Renderworks Any ideas? Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 18, 2015 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 18, 2015 Could you place that lighting device in a file on its own and post it here? I can take a look. First guesses: 1) No fill on that part in the 3D component of the symbol. 2) Wrong part record attached to that part in the 3D component of the symbol 3) Class attributes for that part, with a class fill of none. michaelk
Every once in a while a symbol has mistake in it. The symbols you got from Martin have been pulled down. But, like Jim says, if you post it here it will get fixed pretty quickly. The Martin symbols for moving lights that ship with Vectorworks have a Mac Aura that works. But that same folder of symbols has a couple of mistakes. Here are corrected versions of those symbols: mk Quote Link to comment
Darrell Henry
Thanks. The reason I moved to that library was that the stock one was missing a couple things -- but if it is a symbol issue I will move back. Thanks for your updated file. D. Quote Link to comment
