Change class properties of multiple viewports

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I am wondering if there is a way to change the class properties of multiple viewports? My normal method is to change the class properties of 1 viewport, and then select another and import the properties from the viewport i have changed. However, i can only do this 1 viewport at a time - and on a sheet layer where i have say 10-15 separate viewports, it becomes a bit tedious!

Thanks.

Jonathan.

You should be able to use the eyedropper tool to copy the class overrides from one viewport and plunk them quickly down on the rest, though I am not sure what version of Vectorworks you are using, this is possible in Vectorworks 2015. Class/Layer visibilities can be altered by selecting all of the viewports at once and then clicking Classes or Layers, if thats what you meant instead.

The eye dropper tool works a treat. Thank you. It was more the colours of the classes that i wanted to copy over, rather than the visibility of classes.
