Transom on Schedule

Hi Chris,

The quickest way I know is to create a column in the worksheet of your Door Schedule and then in the Database Header row enter the call or formula =('Door'.'Spring') The call for a window's transom is =('Window'.'Spring')

You'll need to format it as a Dimension but that should give you the height or what's in the OIP as "Spring"

Pat Stanford's "PIO Grabber"(for lack of a better name) makes quick work of finding these calls. It's been posted here on the Board. Thanks Pat...

Try this: =IF((Window.Transom)=FALSE, '-', (Window.Spring))

It will only give a value if the window has a transom.

You won't be able to edit the height of the transom from these cells. You can make another worksheet with the straight window.spring value. I often have one worksheet for inserting as a schedule and another for editing objects.

Should have stated the obvious: The window can have a value for spring even if the window doesn't have a transom. Just like it can have an id number even if "on schedule" isn't checked.
