joerg
i finally updated to VW 2015 SP! and tried to adjust my workspace to my former shortcuts but i have difficulties because Workspace editor tells me for examble "cmd+," or "cmd+h" is used by oOS X. Is there a way to change that because these shortcuts worked fine on VW 2013 and Yosemite... Quote Link to comment
M5d
It's the same under Mavericks. Under OS 10.9 VW 2013 can use that key combination fine, but VW 2015 reports that it's used by OS X, same machine, same OS, same settings. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted November 3, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 3, 2014 Looks like 2013 is simply overriding the OS X shortcuts. I'll submit this and see if its something that the newer versions can be made to do, or if its actually 2013 being "broken" and overwriting things it should not overwrite. (Often Apple has 'rules' about this sort of thing that need to be adhered to by developers, whether it is a useful feature or not.) Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted November 4, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 4, 2014 Confirmed. After converting Vectorworks to 64bit (thus, Cocoa) Apple required us to not overwrite these system-wide hotkeys any longer. Unfortunately this cannot be changed. Quote Link to comment
