scheven_architect
What is the easiest way to copy walls/windows/... from one story to another? In this tutorial they just seem to redraw them. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 7, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 7, 2014 If they're going to be the same objects in the same relative locations to each other, its easiest to just duplicate the entire layer in the organization dialogue box, then adjust its heights and rename it. If there is a lot of other geometry on the layer you don't want to duplicate, you can select the walls/windows/doors, duplicate in place, then just assign them to the new layer in the object info palette. A problem with this method is that the windows & doors don't always set themselves within the walls that could already be drawn in that location. Quote Link to comment
