I would love to be able to set a global option that new groups created would be classed - not in the active class, but in a preference set class. I encounter so often groups being accidentally thrown into incorrect classes because it is easy to forget that grouping is reclassing the objects.
I personally would throw all groups to None by default so they would always be on and the classing would be controlled by the object's class not the group class. If I needed to change the class of the group - great, but by default it would go to none.
