jcron
hi, im running vectorworks 9.5.3 on OS 10.2 and am experiencing a variety of problems, the most recent being that any text, (notes, dimensions, symbols) dissapears after zooming in to the drawing. it reappears after zooming out to the original position, but after multiple zooms it seems to be lost completely. it prints fine. but even after exiting and re-opening vw, its still not there. so frustrating . . . help? CipesDesign
JCRON, I have had this problem since going to OSX. In my case, with certain fonts (most notably Graphite), at certain fairly specific sizes/zoom levels (ie: 10p type @ 100%) text does not appear on screen. If I zoom in (or out) it reappears, and it prints fine (unless it is in a worksheet, in VW 10.01, on my HP Design Jet 230, in which case it changes to Geneva!). skoorbb
jcron - check your active layer and layer settings (as only 1 possibility for disappearing text). cipes - the worksheet/Geneva issue can be resolved by mapping fonts to themselves. NNA - Have you guys addressed the font/worksheet/mapping issue yet? Quote Link to comment
Guest
Bruce, The engineers are currently working on resolving the issue. There is no current fix. Quote Link to comment
