Applebye
I've just encountered a problem for the first time with my plant placement tool. When I click to add a row of plants, it doesn't place the plants exactly where I click, but offsets them. The loci are no longer in the centre of the plants. I tried adding plants individually then regrouping them, but it randomly moves the plants. I just want to put the plants where I click. Any suggestions? Thanks Quote Link to comment

Bruce Kieffer
Applebye, Did you find a solution? Next would be test with a different mouse or different computer, then it's time to contact tech support. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 6, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 6, 2014 If you place the plants in a new blank file, does the same problem occur? If you disable all snapping options in the snapping palette, does the same problem occur? Which of the insertion modes of the Plant tool are you in? If you edit the 2D graphics of one of those plants, is its center lined up with 0,0 in the editing mode? If not, move the center of the plant to 0,0 and that should correct it, if that is the issue.
