Sorry I've managed to italicise the latin name, but it does the whole name, and won't let me do just part of it.

Is there a way of changing the text on plant labels? I need to change the colour of some and italicise the latin names, but can't seem to do this in either the design layer, or via the plant database. I'm using VW 2012 for this project. Thanks

I've recently imported symbols from the resource browser into the plant database, but when I add a new plant to the drawing using the plant tool, the plant name won't appear. The tag line is there, but no latin name. I've selected: Tag display: left Tag top: Latin name Tag class: Plants-components-tags Tag approach 45o Tag shoulder 180o Enable tag shoulder line - selected Snap tag to plant centre - selected Display tag line marker - selected Any ideas? I've imported some plant symbols into the resource browser and created a planting plan, but none of the plant labels come up. Is there a quick way of switching on the plant tags, or importing the symbols into the plant database? Thanks

I've just encountered a problem for the first time with my plant placement tool. When I click to add a row of plants, it doesn't place the plants exactly where I click, but offsets them. The loci are no longer in the centre of the plants. I tried adding plants individually then regrouping them, but it randomly moves the plants. I just want to put the plants where I click. Any suggestions? Thanks

Thank you - that worked! Don't know how I changed the view to Top, but all sorted now. I bought your book a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully I'll be a bit more au fait and stop making basic errors! Thanks again.

I've just opened up a file I worked on a few weeks ago and all the plant symbols have disappeared, with only crosses marking the centre of the plants remaining. I've got all the classes visible. Even when I try to add a new plant, only a cross comes up. Any ideas? Thanks

I've just bought a Landscape bundle from iSymbol and have downloaded them, but can't work out how to install them in VW. When I double click on the files, it just opens up a new VW document of the symbols. Sorry for such a simple question - any help gratefully received. Thanks Emma
