preston bircher designs
What I have here; a roof support beam that splits my 3rd Electric at an odd angle. I would like the two (2) pipes to react as one (1)--Mainly for Lightwright purposes and Instrument Numbering. Basically ONE postion that consists of two pipes with a 4' gap for the odd-diagonal support beam. Do I need to create a rectangle with white fill, and no-color line and place it "over" the gap? Thanx y'all! Preston Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted April 15, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted April 15, 2014 Any geometry can be converted to a lighting position. Draw your two popes and then group them. Now run convert to lighting position with the group selected and you will have a single lighting position object. Quote Link to comment
preston bircher designs
WOW! I'll try that. I used the new 2014 Lighting Postion tool, so I will: 1) Delete what I have 2) Draw the TWO pipes 3) Group them 4) Convert to Lighting Position Then all numbering will be cohesive and continuous. GREAT... thx... Quote Link to comment
