michael john williams
For a simple 2 storey house under organization design layer levels I set up: ground floor at z 0 and +-z at 2600mm first floor at z 2600mm and +- at 2400mm roof at z 5000mm and +- at 0 Then I create a pitched roof in AEC on the roof layer. Then I set up the elevations in a viewport and all three layers nicely line through above each other. This is how I have done for years. But recently the roof layer is not at the correct 5000mm level and is at the same level as the ground floor. I know can tweek the design layer levels or move the roof up in the roof layer but this then messes up all my design levels for later revisions, etc. What have I done? What do I do to correct this? SonnyLuong
The new Stories Concept in VW takes a little effort to grasp. But you can actually change the numbers after you set up the stories. In the organization dialog box choose design layers and double click on each story to adjust your stacking height in the pop-up dialog box. Quote Link to comment
