SharonP
I am drawing a house where there are two parts of the house at 30? to each other, with a link between them. I need to draw a section through the house, and want to have the section go through the first part of the house, turn 30? and continue through the remaining part of the house so that I end up with true flat sections of both parts. I hope that makes sense to someone! Can I do this on vectorworks, and if so can someone please tell me how? Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
I don't think Vectorworks can do this with one section. You could set up two section viewports and put them together. Quote Link to comment
SharonP
Thanks for that?. not what I was hoping to hear but what I suspected the answer might be. I have ended up copying the layers I need onto a separate layer, and then rotating part of the plan so that the whole house is in the same plane. Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
I have ended up copying the layers I need onto a separate layer, and then rotating part of the plan so that the whole house is in the same plane. Would multiple section viewports be much simpler and faster? Quote Link to comment

Sharon I would recommend you to do as Dieter suggests above, just create 2 section viewports along the 2 axes that you need and then stick them together on your sheet layer, that way will save you a lot of time compared to chopping up your building as you are doing now..... ......i'll post a wish for this in any case so we might get that kind of functionality in the next few versions.
