Mickey
This is so frustrating. I've used the soft goods tool to draw some drape. I'd like to change the color of the drape. I've tried changing every place that can take a color. First in the OIP under "3D Curtain Options/Opaque" This is where you'd think it would be but changing this color has no effect on the rendering. I've tried giving the drape a different texture with different colors I've tried changing the fill, and line colors All to no avail. If I make it a Scrim it takes the color correctly, however then it's a transparent scrim, and no long a drape. This used to work. You would just change the fill color, and the drape would change color. I'm using 2013. Quote Link to comment
C. Andrew Dunning
Mickey - Make sure that your Soft Goods object's fill color (as assigned in the Attributes palette) is not set to "Color By Class." If it is, the Class' fill color will override the Opaque or Scrim color. Quote Link to comment

Is there any place in a global setting that would affect this change? I tried on my office computer today on a brand new blank drawing, and the drape tool works like you think it should. I change the color in "3D Curtain Option/Opaque" and it works. Quote Link to comment
C. Andrew Dunning
Mickey - I can't think of any settings, right-off, that would affect the Opaque color. If you care to share a copy of the file showing the issue, I'd be happy to take a look. You can post it here or e-mail it through the link on the "Contact" page in the Web site below.
