Gobo1 Label Legend

Is there a way to add the prefix "T:" to the Label Legend for Gobo1 so it will automatically appear in front of the template name when that field is present?

The plot I am currently drafting contains a mixture of G370 the color and G370 the template and I would like to have the templates read as "T:G370" in order to avoid confusion. The best I've come up with so far is to put T:G370 in the Gobo1 field, but I'm really not wild about how this transfers over to the Lightwright paperwork. Option 2 has to put this notation in as a text box manually and adjust placement of the labels individually. I really don't care for this option either.

Is there an easy option that I'm missing?

There is no way to automatically add the "T:" label.

Creating a label for the "T:" can be done several ways.

Method 1:

Create a separate user filed that contains just the "T:" ad the value.

In the Label Legend Manager add the filed.

In the Layout set the text on the T: field to be right aligned.

Set the text in the label for the gobo to the left aligned and place the two labels side by side.

Method 2:

Make a symbol symbol containing "T:"

The insertion point of the symbol should be just to the right of the ":"

Place it in the Containers folder.

In the Label Legend Manager choose the symbol as the container for the gobo.

In the layout set the text for the gobo label to be left aligned.

The are different advantages for each method.

I use Lightwright 5

In LW I added a text column called Temp to VW.

In it I place the "T" symbol, this column does not print in LW, but it maps to the Gobo 1 field in VW and places the symbol into the appropriate label legends.

All my VW legends as well have a "Use" field that is also in LW and can either be a truncated purpose name and that sits right above the color, or nearby. I can put the actual template number into that field in LW as well if I want to see what template number for which instruments on the plot.
