  1. Is there a way to class the labels for lighting positions separate from the position?
  2. I can't figure out how to purge unused instruments from the Spotlight Lighting Inventory Setup. I've changed the name of the Instrument Type from the Lighting Symbol Maintenance window a few times until I got to a name that everyone working on the project could live with, but now when I open up the Lighting Inventory Setup I have to scroll through every iteration. The Purge function doesn't seem to do anything to help with this. Thoughts? VW 2015 Spotlight w/ Renderworks SP4 Mac OS 10.10
  3. I can't seem to figure out how to create a surface that I can work with (ie, give depth and texture to) when a 3D polygon does not sit flat on a 2d plane. Here's the problem I'm working on: I'm modeling a sidewalk that is 12' wide, 5" thick, and follows a path up and around a small hill. I started with a polyline of the Top/Plan view of the sidewalk. Then, using an elevation, I placed 3D locus points along the edge of the polyline. I connected the dots with NURBS curves, then converted the NURBS into a 3D polygon. The outline follows the exact path I'm trying to create, but I can't give the polygon the 5" of depth or the concrete texture that I need for rendering. Any thoughts about how to get this to work? 4. Is there a way to add the prefix "T:" to the Label Legend for Gobo1 so it will automatically appear in front of the template name when that field is present? The plot I am currently drafting contains a mixture of G370 the color and G370 the template and I would like to have the templates read as "T:G370" in order to avoid confusion. The best I've come up with so far is to put T:G370 in the Gobo1 field, but I'm really not wild about how this transfers over to the Lightwright paperwork. Option 2 has to put this notation in as a text box manually and adjust placement of the labels individually. I really don't care for this option either. Is there an easy option that I'm missing?
