Christian Fekete
this is crazy, with all new update things go wrong again! I cannot reshape walls as before, it seems like I am stuck on the layer plane which does not help. Any suggestion on how to add a step to my wall? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
I'm guessing that you want to draw '2D guide geometry' in an elevation view for your reshaping. If so you will need to set the Active Plane popup to Screen Plane. You should also switch Automatic Layer Plane off. Note - the backslash key toggles automatic Layer Plane on and off. mike m oz
Quickest and easiest way in Architect is to draw yourself temporary geometry and then use the Fit Walls to Objects command (called Fit Walls to Roof in earlier versions). You could also model your footings and then use that as the Geometry to fit to. Architect 2012 and 2013 also have a Create Stepped Wall command. Quote Link to comment
