Since then, when opening VW, a group of windows opens, which seems to be a culmination of previously opened windows/files. Shutting them down, closing VW and re-opening doesn't work. I think there is a setting in Lion to tame the reopening of windows but it's not intuitive to find iirc it needed terminal prompt. Do a google for something like lion windows open. It's not just VW, I every time I bring Word from dock, I get another new document even though Word is already open. That said, VW seems more compliant than many others so maybe you have a seperate issue. Seems to be a source of frustration for many. Iirc that Apple did a recent update to assist.
