Users can't be expected to mask the existing offending text and recreate a manual text entry. It's a total nightmare once you start applying site modifiers, you have to go fish out which text was added manually and reposition it again. See my attached example.

It's too annoying, there has to be a way to reposition the elevation text along the contours of the DTM, see my previous post
